Biography
My practice revolves around unpicking traditional ideals surrounding assumptions of originality and mark-making. The gestural qualities and narrative possibilities of paint are deeply embedded in many of my works. By applying tight self-imposed parameters to my working process I create tensions between notions of authenticity and reproduction, which are manifest in the materiality of paint on surface.
