Biography
Red aka Luca Amendola is an Italian artist. He was born in Naples, on 1978. He begins to play aerosol art when he was teenager, and he had painted by cans a great graffiti series, keeps on working on the wall and trains for a long time. Then he makes a lot of pictures, holy matter too. Since 2008 he dedicates own work to the graphic and digital picture-mash up.
Rado cut and paste the common sense samples. He blasts and shears and then he gives back it, such as a crazy Figaro, for new sense and harmony. The pop investigation, with powerful colors and decadent spleen, means just the point of departure. In his digital papiers collés, Rado asserts a question of reality, pop itself, and make an exorcism. He overlaps bleakness and lightness, holy and profane, softcore and angelic naked. The woman is there, always. She’s like a queen of the world and at the same time picture priestess. The compositions which Rado introduce you are such as Alice’s door, but upsidedown: wonderland are us, in the life before the mirror.
