Biography

Born in Bountiful, Utah (1932) broadly traveled throughout the United States, Europe and the Far East, my academic studies were art-centric with an emphasis on classical Western music, dance and poetry.

I am a full time professional visual artist and a composer of contemporary music. The themes of my work focus on the interconnected nature of color, shape, and sound in the visual as well as the musical compositional mediums. With Graduate degrees in music composition and 40 plus years of practice as a studio painter I have taught design and painting on several different academic levels. I recently produced a DVD titled “Gateways tO the Divine” to illustrate my painting and musical composition process. I liken my creative process as one of developing the material, intellectual and spiritual development of the individual over time.

My creative work can be found in over 250 private, corporate and public collections throughout the United States, Europe, South America and the Far East. I am happy to correspond with interested collectors or students about my work.
