Biography
I am born in Trieste, Italy, in 1970 and currently I live in Lokev, Slovenia, where I paint in my atelier.
My father was my first painting teacher, he always encouraged me to cultivate this passion. I did not choose an academic training path, but I refined my skills by attending various courses in Trieste: I developed the technique at the school of Livio Mozina, teacher of Hyperelaism, several courses at the Scuola del Vedere with Raffaella Busdon for life drawing of nude with model, I followed training internships with Christian Hache where I approached drawing and painting with a dynamic technique.
Those were my "living" masters...Yes because I also learned from Ancient Masters such as Caravaggio, Johannes Veermer, Artemisia Gentileschi: by studying and dealing with their works I have deepened the art of painting with the same ability needed to learn the sacred mystery of art.

I enjoy experimenting with different styles and different subjects and I am particular attracted to reproduce ancient paints or impressionist paints as a challenge to grasp the secrets and skills of the great painters.
Portraits, animals or landscape subjects... the aim of my paintings is expressing beauty. So, to understand my works, it is not necessary to look for a particular meaning or message because my intention is only to capture beauty as I can see it feeling emotion, in any form, material and spiritual.
