Biography
Valentina was born in Poggibonsi on 15 February 1985 but lives and works in Colle di Val d'Elsa.
Even as a child has been distinguished by her passion for drawing and color enough to partecipate in many painting courses, including the "free school of the nude" in Florence. In 2011 she graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence under the school of Umberto Bisi( teacher).
She has participated in many exhibitions: Rome, Colle Val d'Elsa, S. Gimignano, london; she has won the third prize of the painting contest "Strapaese". (Colle Val d'Elsa)
She is inspired by the great artists who they lived in the Valelsa area but also by contemporary artists such as Lucien Freud and Francoise Nielly. From an accademic painting style, the artist goes immediately searching a expressive forms and values to her more appropriate, continued in the experimental art of the human figure. the her research is mainly in the large portraits: each brush stroke of pure color helps give strength to her subjects.
