Biography
Born in Argentina, he has resided in California for more than thirty years. He graduated from the Universidad del Aconcagua with a Psychology and Art degree applied to Advertising and Communication Media. He has been painting since a very early age but is in the last few years that he starting dedicating himself full time to paint.
Hugo’s paintings represent a unique fusion of powerful energy of expressionism, intense personal symbolism. Pictorial, fluid and emotional components are of equal significance in his works.
The main thing for him is the expression of fluid motion, reflection of the movement of internal energy. When asked to describe his work he replied, ''I paint my Insides my guts, my feelings''
