Biography
Assunta Cassa was born in San Giovanni Rotondo (Italy) on 7th October 1964. After university studies, she moved to San Benedetto del Tronto, where she now lives. A graduate in economics and commerce, an open, communicative driving it to always look for new ways to express her talents. Over the years she worked in various sectors until a collaborative project with local museums and a course in oil painting, make them feel the strong call of art and discovered her passion. The pictorial art would be her emotional moment of synthesis and reflection.
In a few years he has exhibited in various " exhibition" in San Benedetto del Tronto, Rome, Italy, Macerata, Pescara and San Giorgio a Cremano, Lecce and Piacenza.
To her credit she also has three " personal exhibition", in San Benedetto del Tronto in 2011, in Vicenza in 2012 and Radda in Chianti in 2013 and two "awards".
In hes "abstract soul," as she calls them, we find a wise and wonderful play of colors and light that brings power and energy, showing a strong sense of freedom and passion, as if to bring out the deep recesses of 'soul.
Through the pictorial representation, both figurative and informal of the woman, she depicts the passion for life in all its manifestations, the emotions of the heart, the depths of the soul. In her works, the woman is at ease in her element and she is aware of its value, she is earth, water, air and fire ... she dances the passion of tango, the tribal instinct of pizzica, she is sweet, proud, haughty and sensual, dreamy, glacial, she is not afraid to lay bare their emotions.
