Biography

Alessandro Parente was born in Italy in 1984.

He is graduated at Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, and at “school of fashion and design photography” ,“PHOTODESIGN” of Buenos Aires.

In 2006 he created the photo crew TPOscuri, in the cultural center “TPO” of Bologna, where they made several exposures.

In 2007 he exposed permanently in the Mindalae Museum of Quito a photographic reportage about the indigenous handcrafts in Ecuador.

In 2008/2009 he mades a research about the theaters in Buenos Aires following the theater group Catalinasur and others like the murga Agarre Catalina. His photos where exposed on the Theatre "de la ribera", La Boca, Buenos Aires.

In 2010 he moved to Berlin with an argentinian photographer, than they created the "Studio Once". An area of research about the architecture and cultures lives in the city.

In 2011 he travelled around India following a gipsy group called Gadulia Lohar, the gipsy group that represent the root of the gipsies.

The last travel was in 2012 Morocco with a cooperation project called NomadsMarocco.

In Italy he is represented by the photo Agency AnnaContestabile.

He speeks English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and German.
