Biography
What interests me most about painting is its simultaneity. For me painting offers the potential to be both a point of arrival and departure. In its stillness it articulates the energy of multiple moments and when confronted by its presence painting connects past, present and future.
My ambitions are that my paintings generate spaces where simultaneity is possible. Where the conscious and subconscious, the physical and the cerebral, the sublime and the horrific co-exist.
