Biography
Espacio Vacío, galería de arte en construcción, promotes a dialogue between artists and the work they produce with the community and the city. A gallery is a walk-through corridor with a side view, the arcades of Guayaquil are galleries. Espacio Vacío adopts the term gallery because when it is open it becomes a part of this area of the city. It eliminates entry barriers and becomes a public space.During the creative process ideas are built and discarded. The space itself is going through this process and pretends to remain in it during its existence, remaining in constant contact with its environment and dependent on it for its development.
