Biography
I'm contemporary self-taught pop surreal artist and illustrator, painting and living in Italy. My work is inspired by fairy tales, literature, comics, cartoon, magic, nature but i think that we live in a world so much various and connected that every little thing is around us can become something inspiring.
However, the most essential for me is to represent our world with irony, trying to create a surreal mix with an hard visual impact and strong colors.
What is important to me is the symbolism, create freakish and macabre images that, at the same time, appear as poetic vision. I work with acrylic paint on canvas, wood and masonite and i focus my attention on vivid colors, that for me are very important, because color is the first eye contact that people have with painting.
