Biography
"Fulvio Cartoni was born in Baden, Switzerland in 1965.As a child he transfered with his parents to Castiglioncello on the Tuscan coast near Livorno ,town where, a few years before, resided the best international painters and artisans whom had left behind an important cultural and artistic inheritance .In Castiglioncello , in the "60's", there was a new artistic re-birth lead by the medium of cinematography . The young Fulvio had the privilege to start his career in a place where an artistic presidence had already been established by former artists such as Mastroianni and Pualo Panelli, creating a favourable climate for an aspirig artist . From '92 to '96 he lives in Carrara and is successfull in Liceo artistico, where he obtained a degree in 'Liceo Artistico' (Artistic Licence) where he was a student of Professor Cavallo, whose teachings were important in the growth of Fulvio as an artist .
Back in his Castiglioncello, he worked with illustrations, publishing graphics and decorations, producing imaginative miurals for both public venues and private houses.
Since 2003 he worked only on oil and canvas in his study or 'in situ', as well as taking part in numerous shows, thereby obtainig many favourable opinions from both the critics and the public alike . The pleasure and enthusiasm that he heas in his work can only laed to a succesful future."
