Biography
My work was born with a strong interest for the portrait.
Color's decomposition and a lot of material; I loved the idea of a physically heavy painting, although I used to be quite realistic.
Then, through a greater self-consciousness, I ended up on discovering all my interests and influences, yet i'm still busy in keeping them exist together as much as possible.
I started distorting the elements, adding graphics that could match with the environment without devastating it.
Recently my focus is on the landscape and the people who inhabit it. The color is a little more flat and the line is more geometric. Starting from photographs of places I've seen that have become the extension of myself, I create compositions that i conceive as frames of movies that i conserved in my mind.
I like to create very large paintings!
