Biography
The "Gruppo IAM" born from the encounter between two young architects, Michael Romoli (Treia-MC, 1979) and Mauro Mancini (Camerino-MC, 1979) the first resident in Pollenza (MC), the second in Ripe San Gines (MC).
Both show since the early college common interests for the territory, society, sustainability, this addition to the strong desire to get involved and to communicate something more than what the profession can, in reality "plaster" in which they live pushes them in January 2010 to form the working group IAM.
This extends immediately to other 5 components: Arch Daniela Belleggia (Montegiorgio, 1977), Arch Stefania Calamante (Treia, 1979), Arch Guido Graziani (Macerata, 1969), Arch Manolo Tartars (Treia, 1980), Painter Irene Diprè (Macerata, 1978).
All practice their profession and have completed numerous educational and professional experiences, and all are united by a great artistic sense and communication.
Driven by the interests and research activities ranging from landscape to the city, building design, the group sets itself the goal of proposing ideas and create debates, launching inputs and bringing to light various issues.
Group's latest initiative is the installation called "Volume Zero", a reflection on contemporary building, awareness of our society, which shows apparently communal, social, relational, is instead characterized increasingly by individual component, which is therefore crucial. Hence, for many the sense of discomfort, choking, loneliness and closing interior enhanced by a mode of living space "closed" and where there is only private refuge.
Reflection proposal stems from the fact that the space where we live, is far and away the most is the well-being and security they need and that the man only his natural strength and attitude to the environment, despite all the violence within that suffers, allows it to live.
