Ghumbert Cattolica, art’s name of Umberto Martorana, born in Taormina, where he lives and works. It 's the journey that connotes the painting of Ghumbert, a journey through color, a warm color like the sun of his Sicily, a trip through the senses, a journey into the traditions of great masters in the art, a journey in memory. From the experiences, books read, the countries visited, the people he knows,the feelings that translates between the artist in painting, revealing a dimension personal and universal.
