Biography
Andrea Massara was born in Milan in 1970, and after graduating from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, he began using a variety of techniques and experimented with bas-relief painting on sheets of iron. Since 2001 he has been using an electric welder, “drawing” on iron sheet with the electrode to create a bas-relief effect and completing the work with oils.
He was presented by the art critic and historian Rossana Bossaglia at two solo exhibitions in Milan in 2004 and 2007.
