Biography

I am an artist/maker who creates objects and situations that are aesthetically desirable and unique.
My work focuses on Life. I am inspired by the complexity of the natural world, also by literature and visual imagery from world cultures (past and present). My own imagery is assembled from observation and drawing. I merge the morphology of nature into my work to emphasize the link between humans and nature and our common fate.
After graduating from Camberwell College of Arts in 2008 I have dedicated most of my time to the production of ceramic 3D work at my studio in 18 Glebe road London. Even though I do not intellectually limit myself on format, size, materials or techniques. I love the materials that I choose to work with, but they are not what define the final piece.
The Art works that I create are not just something done, they are something to be done and to rethink, though not towards an achievement or self contentment. They are something to elaborate on, for me and for the viewer/user. The creative process is for me a tool to encounter the world, with it I elaborate and express.
