Painter, stage designer, graphic, photographer, Michelangelo Janigro has extended its interests in the design video and urban art. Carries on activity in Campobasso and Rome. Made exhibitions in Molise in Italy and abroad. His works are in private and public collections.
Begins to show his work in a solo exhibition in Roma in 1972; Other important exhibitions in Berna (1982), Torino (1986) Firenze (1992, 1995), Bologna (1992) Parigi (1997), Roma (2010, 2011).
In Molise, the artist has been for decades among the protagonists of cultural life. Since the early 70's he has participated in major events: in 1974, when he was the young is one of the guests at the historic Verifica 74 planned and organized by artist and animator cultural Lino Mastropaolo; solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Campobasso in Molise. In the 80 he carries in Campobasso of a significant solo exhibition at the City Gallery, sponsored by the city of Campobasso, and then revived in Ferrazzano under the Ferrazzano Festival.
In 1992 he is the author, in Ferrazzano (Campobasso), on the occasion of Ferrazzano Festival, conceived and directed by the promoter of cultural events Michele Lanza, of the preparation for the important retrospective of the designer, animator and illustrator Emanuele Luzzati.
In 2003 he also won, along with the aforementioned artists and architect DamianoDolce, Urban Art Award, National Competition of Ideas (second place). In 1997, this project is exposed, together with that of the other participants in a group show at the college Mario Pagano.
In 2009 the project was finally realized, and the Labirinto Monumento sculpture is installed in a public park on Via San Giovanni.
In 2002-2003 he has a solo exhibition in the exhibition of Limiti Inchiusi (Paso Doble), with critical acclaim and great success. In 2009, the gallery exhibits again Limiti Inchiusi with a solo inspired by languages (Play). In 2011, in the gallery AxA Palladino Company he presents 72 drawings . In 2012, he is present in various group exhibitions.
