Biography
Maria Elena Borsato (Milano1966)
Since 1988, Maria Elena Borsato has been working in the field of communications. Highly precocious in her artistic endeavours, she graduated in graphic design for advertising in Milan and went on to study Fine Art at the Scuola D’Arte Federico Faruffini in Sesto San Giovanni.
The language of comics, pop art, the media and advertising figures in her work, and becomes a synthesis of all that relates to research and experimentation in the fields of painting, design and graphics.
Reality is transfigured into colourful details; shapes are interrupted and appear cut out, leaving to the viewers the task of exloring these like fragments of the world.
Maria Elena Borsato has been active in Exhibitons and Art Prizes for many years.
