Biography
My work is an investigation about the rapport between macrocosm and microcosm.
The space, the material, the time, everything connected to the human reality.
Infnitely large and infnitely small, the absence of limits, the connection ring about these concepts are thoughts of deep inspiration and interest. I'm very interested about the natural phenomenons and the contemporary society and sometimes I like to contaminate these topics with the historical philosophy.
My principal goal is to investigate and to know the contemporary reality inserting it in the context of artistic research.
I'm interested about any type of artistic contamination and I use various techniques and materials. The materials used, like cement, iron, wool, cotton, nylon thread, fshhook, posidonia oceanica, fshing net, come from the environment where I live and where I have direct experience.
My search started throught a photographic way, now allows me to realize contemporary visions with particular attention to the form; the line, like a borderline between two spaces, real and unreal, closed and open, outside and inside, contact and separation, distinguishes my works.
