Biography
Leontia Fegan: New Media/Digital/Performance Artist
Born in Newry (1980), Leontia Fegan graduated with a Master of Fine Art from the University of Ulster in 2005. Shortly afterwards she was awarded the Belfast New Contemporaries prize for best video artwork at the ArtTank Gallery on the Lisburn Road. She worked at Flax Art Studios in the Carhedral Quarter before winning a 4 month residency at D.A.S. (Digital Arts Studios, Queen Street).
Fegan exhibited extensively throughout Northern Ireland before moving to Scotland in 2006. In 2008 she was awarded a Post-graduate Diploma of Education from the University of the West of Scotland and currently teaches in Glasgow.
