Biography

Marco Lunghi was born in Florence in 1970. In 1997 he graduated at DAMS, (University of Bologna), and the passion for the cinema (he perfected in studies of aesthetics of cinema), alongside a growing interest in traditional photography and for painting (be rewarded in 1998, “Premio Firenze”, and in 1999, “Premio Italia”). From 1999 (after having attended a regional course financed by the E.U. for operator multimedia) he collaborates to several years as graphic designer and as photographer assistant in a study of graphic and video production in Florence where he organizes some exhibitions at a cultural association. He participates in rare collective painting and photography exibitions (selected in June 2009 to the competition “Testimonianze visive della sofferenza” organized by Gallery “Il Borgo”, Milan), as its artistic interest oriented mostly on a personal search loose by the usual exhibition events. He currently lives in Florence where he teaches Italian language and culture to foreigners, he studies Japanese and dealing with graphics.
