Biography
Daniela Politelli was born in Naples on February the first, 1979.
Her training at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples is gradually filling even outside of it through works and collaborations with different artists.
She is active in social issues, collaborates with the "Aporema non-profit organization" in Naples in the management of the workshops of Contemporary Art; these workshops have the aim to realize the project "Artoteca" that involves schools in Naples and artists.
The “drawing” is the main element of Daniela Politelli's work, a drawing that becomes mental projection of a scenery:
"A sign that materializes not on paper but in space" ... with nylon ropes that follow a path, describing everyday objects.
The interpretation of the “sign” as mental projection grows up with the research about the sign.
The opportunity to ask questions is the goal that puts together the meditative handiwork and the form.
