Biography

“Freedom” is vital to my experience, and most of my work revolves around themes of the undisputable lack of it.

I have received several awards including: twice recognized from the State of Florida, Individual Arkndividual Artist Fellowships in painting; a Knight Foundation Arts Challenge Grant; a First Place Award in Video at the National Biennial in Santo Domingo; Young Jury Award at Optica Festival, Spain; and a 1st Place in Painting at the Mobile Museum of Art.
