Biography
After graduating she moved to Milan and she enrolled at University. She won a scholarship at the Istituto Italiano di fotografia(Italian Institute of Photography), where she studied and worked as an assistant during the course of two years, before graduating as a Professional Photographer in 2004. She worked as Assistant Photographer to PierMarco Menini at the Venice Film Festival. She worked at the photographic archive of Hannes Schik. For a few months she shared a studio with Gianni Moretti, a young artist, and with him she initiated the BU.RA project, a one-off event of painting and photography.
After spending a year in central Italy where she focused on expanding her book, she returned to Milan and started running photographic and creative workshops for children.
In 2008 she worked as Assistant Photographer to Giorgio Mondolfo and she organized his photographic archive. With some friends she opened a small art gallery and studio, called Joske, which focuses on organising cultural events like exhibitions, literary evenings and creative gatherings.
Her work concerns portraits, reportages and some personal stuff.
