Biography
I like to monitor the direction, and pace at which my country is growing, using the mediums of Photography and Video. I make connections between images from the media and the ones taken by my camera set to shoot at regular intervals. The idea with these ‘Automatic Images’ is to present a picture that’s as unfiltered as possible. In order to lay particular stress I choose to paint some of these images on large canvases.
Revisiting a location regularly unfolds a visual tale, in which I always see a friction between my idealism and the reality.
