Biography

I make living artworks.
My work is a discussion on the natural processes of the state of being alive and our perception of it.
Born in Oxford, to a family of surgeons, I grew up in England & Wales.
At an early age this environment brought a daily proximity to the finite limitations of human existence and the ability of people to affect these limitations in extending and creating life.  This in turn influenced the way I saw and sourced beauty within nature, whilst also informing how the human eye of perception rationalizes and contextualizes beauty within the cycles of life.

Inevitably this resulted in the understanding that true experiences come from direct communication born in the moment. My artwork is an investigation that changes through time, in so doing high lights this exact moments we are alive.

Today, I am based in Brooklyn, New York City. The work I follow continue to same vein, with the ambition of addressing the process of existence in its core state. Using both materials that are living or have previously lived, to record the rationalization of change we incur as living organisms.
