Biography

I was born in Mesagne (Italy) in 1972 but my family is from Venice were I grew up. I’ve studied art at the University “Ca Foscari” of Venice were I graduated, and after I obteined the title of art historian at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome. I’ve been pursuing my studies following and the same time my passion for drawing and painting doing three courses in the “Scuola Internazionale di Grafica” and the anatomy course at the Academy of Fine Arts.
"I can define my work as the art of the fragment. I adore travelling physically and with my imagination, in the forgotten spaces like some of the urban or the industrial decay. I follow my instinct deeply convinced that a kind of beauty is hidden everywhere, and I receive the fascination of the materials destroyed and transformed so that it's hard to remember what there was before...Anyway I find that among this unrecognizable fragments a kind of eternity persists. I feel this eternity, in our momentary passage, such in the graffiti writings, in the signals, in the boxes,in the industrial machines. Finally I feel the transformation of the matter through the times."
