Biography
My work has always revolved around others and I find that making art wile thinking of or involving others is a large part of why I make art and how I get energized to make art. It is where my passion lies and how I plan to pursue my career as an artist. I attempt to introduce expose and enlighten others on the subject of art, what art is and what it could be. I look around me and see high art in graffiti, billboards and in the actions of Politian's. Although I believe a person needs to recognize that they are making high art before I will openly credit them for doing so, I do know it when I see it. And we all know it when we see it but we don't have the time to learn a new language. So many people have defined "art" what it is and how it should be talked about and constructed that the majority of people aren't sure of what they are looking at or if they should call it art. My art i.e. the Portrait Project or ChicagoArts and even my paintings finds a place to improve the quality of the lives around it.
