Biography
I am an artist currently living in Jersey in the Channel Islands but will be moving to France in Summer/Autumn 2011 where my husband and I will be running an art retreat.
My paintings are highly coloured and intensely detailled abstracts formed by an acrylic background which I overlay with intricately drawn patterns in coloured glue.
Having won the 2006 J. J. Fox International Open Art Competition I embarked on a full-time painting career and held my first solo exhibition ('JEWELALITY') at the Berni Gallery (Jersey) in 2007. I have also exhibited in both France and Portugal, and my work can be found in private collections worldwide.
In 2009 I held my second solo exhibition at the Jersey Arts Centre; entitled 'PROPHECIES' it comprised of a collection of my allegorical abstracts inspired by biblical events and narratives.
Previewing January 24th 2011 at the Berni Gallery, Jersey is 'PERCEPTION' a body of all new 2D and 3D work.
