Biography
Claudia Zuariato was born in 1974, lives and works in Venice. She is represented by two galleries in Milan and Venice.
Open workshop in the Cité des Arts of the Ville of Paris,
First prize winner of the event « Arrivals and Departures » of Venice, she won a scholarship to study and stay at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (January-August 2010).
Her approach to the art world coincides with her studies.
During her training at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice, and thanks also to the cultural influence of some great teachers, she chooses abstract for her first artistic creation.
From the beginning, her research focuses primarily on the matter used in its original state associated with essential graphic signs.
Her early works, created in a geometric style, are characterized by the nature of the materials adopted, ranging from the resin mixture to glass, cement and sand agglomerated with anilines and soils.
At the same time, she expanded her research on traditional graphic techniques.
