Biography
Agatino Raciti. was born in Catania in 1970.
After taking his secondary school certificate in Istituto d’arte, he graduates in architecture and opens “A&A” in Catania, an Art and Design studio.
In 2001 he decides to organize his first art painting exhibition called “Violence of Life” to Catania and a year later he goes on with “soul landscapes” to Taormina and “ Reliquemis” to Trapani until 2003, when he exhibits in the palazzo della Triennale in Milan with ”dove abita l’utopia”, a collective exhibition dedicated to Libero Ferretti.In 2002 he wins the “ Napoli Cultural Classic” in the painting section.
The success he has gained and the selection for the first painting exhibition in Fonopoli, gennaio 2003, have pushed him to organize a lot of exhibitions in different national and foreign towns.
Agatino lives and works between Catania and Milan,
His artistic work wants to be an apparent transposition and temporary simulation of all those situations eluding modern life and that , on the contrary, disclose and reveal in private, far from authoritarian and conservatory schemes.
