Biography
I would describe my painting as “romantic expressionism” . There are the imaginary landscapes, inspired by wilderness, mountains and desert and the organic forms of rocks and trees. And there are the figurative works, often revolving around biblical and mythological stories or scenes from poetical works. My landscapes are swirling storms and burnt rock faces, and my figures are embattled and flayed harbingers of pestilence and death.
