Biography
Gianni Depaoli entire work is based on Sustainability and biodiversity and gives a very strong message about envirormental decay using the artistic language to bring the sea back to life.
He has been exhibiting in prestigius museums and institutions with a different range of installations. His work recalls the poetry of the seascape but also manipolates industrial organic waste, giving the concept of waste an aquired aesthetics and artistic value. Depaoli uses the skins of squids, plaices and their bones to create his pieces creating a new artistic vision which he calls “organic trash art”.
