Biography
Cristina Corvino was born in Turin on July 28, 1970 where she lives and works.
She attended Renato Cottini Art School as a pupil of Antonio Carena, a painter known for the “Skies”, and of the designer Giorgio Ceretti, known for the creation of the “Pratone“ sofa; the teaching of the masters becomes an education for research by growing what will become the passion for art and the various expressions of language: painting, installations, fashion, theater will be experimented over time giving life to a series of works made with various techniques, independent of the will of the client.
With the Degree in Architecture and the professional work as an architect and restorer, the artistic activity continues parallel in some cases inserted as an integral part of the workspace and in other cases as a continuous comparison with ancient works and various executive techniques.
In the last two years the artistic production has focused on the creation of two series belonging to the Conservative Art style, a term coined and deposited by the artist to tell his own language.
