Biography

Marco Brama is a versatile and prolific artist. He use a meta-language which tries to interweave music with theatre, dance, cinema, literature, science and philosophy, trying to go beyond every dichotomous heritage. His works inspect the acoustic physics and electronic experimentals, moving firmly away from the rules, stereotype and categories created by the market. Among his several publications, it's important to remember his debut video album "Psike ed Electra" (1993), the symphonic poem "La Divina Commedia - Inferno" (2001), the essay "Distoria - per una crono conoscenza dell'uomo", the work/studio "musiCaos" in which he employs completely his microtonal tuning based on the prime numbers series, as well as the symphonic compositions collection "Le fiabe sono vere" inspired by the painter Lidia Scalzo's works and the "Fiabe italiane" by Italo Calvino. Throughout the period from 1990 to 2017 he worked with many artists, organised events, obtained awards, created soundtracks, feature films, performances and exhibits creating a steady dialogue between arts.
