Biography

I work mostly in drawing and painting. My practice is deeply involved with the theme of transformations and fluidity, and it explores the subversive power of pleasure, be it derived from beauty, humor or sexuality.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Art Education, and I graduated in 2014 with excellence from the Postgraduate Program in Fine Arts at Hamidrasha School of Art. Believing that traditional figurative drawing and painting techniques can find relevance in the contemporary post-modern discourse, I also studied figurative drawing and painting at a traditional Studio School.

I recently took part in the Premio Marchionni Residency, awarded to me last year by the MAGMMA Museum in Villacidro, Italy. My work has been shown in Venice, New York City, South Korea, Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Los Angeles, Villacidro, Bologna, Milan and Urbino.
