Biography

My work spans installation, sculpture, sound and photography. I am interested in lost and forgotten histories and the way the can quietly, or otherwise, erupt in the present. Currently, I am exploring witchcraft and spell making and the way it might intersect with sculpture and sound - especially through the creation of fictitious narratives and histories - the things that were not written down. Whilst I was born in the UK, I spent most of my life in Australia. I moved back to London four years ago. My work has been shown in various biennales, museums and institutions across Europe, Asia and Australia. I am currently developing a major project called 'The Ghosts of Material Things' which will be shown at the Kunsthaus Bethanian in Berlin in December 2017. It will incorporate a large multi-film installation and a series of performances involving percussionists playing my sculptures.
