Biography
Julián Calvo, born on December 9, 1989, in the city of Santa Fe.
It is oriented towards photography in 2007.
He studied design in the city of Rosario and began his training in the visual arts. Produces series of street art and paintings.
During the period 2009-2011, under the direction of the artist Raquel Minetti, from Santa Fe, she held a seminar to search for image and personal aesthetics.
In 2012 he realizes a workshop of construction of the image directed by Sergio Fasola in the Provincial School of Visual Arts "Prof. Juan Mantovani "picture.
For some years, a work of documentary and anthropological photographs in the city of Santa Fe has been carried out. I carry out a series of photographic works with prisoners in the Las Flores Jail, Santa Fe, during the year 2013.
Between that same year and 2015 he was part of the interdisciplinary art space Lado B, within the framework of the PEIS social interest project: Side B, "Artistic practices in contexts of confinement. Consolidation and Renewal. "He carried out the construction of a photo-book for the Secretary of Extension of the National University of the Coast, in Criminal Unit No. II" Las Flores ".
That same year 2013, graduated in the Technical Education School Prof. N ° 601 Leandro N. Alem, of the city of Santa Fe like Professional Technician in Photography.
He began his career as a professional photographer working at social events, then for Cervecería Schneider and Cerveza Santa Fe as a props photographer. And over time he is in charge of photographic productions for different brands in the field of fashion, such as Kummer, Go Loco, Risk (kitesurf boards), HUB. His photographs appeared in magazines such as Los Inrockuptibles, DUSTY, and Picadillo Mag.
In 2014 he worked as a photographer, cameraman and then video editor, for Maxter Producciones (Villa Carlos Paz).
That same year undertakes MDEMOSH (audiovisual realizations), produced promotional and advertising videos for brands and producers of the Argentine territory.
She is currently a third year student in the career of Audiovisual Arts at UNLP, and continues her artistic photography production.
