Biography
Printmaker, currently working on my masters thesis on the Academy of Fine Art in Sarajevo.
Together with my college Mirza Rahmanovic i formed the artist duo ANIMA which is focusing on contemporary printmaking. The duo has already exhibited in a number of places which are shown on our web page under the events sequence, and we are actively involved in the art scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
The work we are presenting is mostly intaglio prints, dealing with questions of modern society, norms and rules, but also universal themes which every individual person encounters in life.
Our approach is rather classical, and we insist on technical and visual finesse. The works form a kind of narrative by the way they are spread out in the exhibition space. Every work is figurative, as every artist tries to portrait the questions he is searching the answer for in a anthropomorphic display.
