Biography
Agurtxane Concellon is a Spanish photographer currently based in Hardanger, Norway. During the past 15 years she has been working professionally in France, Spain, Norway and Kenya. Agur has exhibited internationally in Spain, France and Norway, as well as being published widely in the sectors of reportage, food, sport and art photography.
Widely travelled, Agur has navigated USA, Mexico, Guatemala, India, Kenya, Tanzania and mainland Europe – many of her travels including photo reportage. Shooting closer to home, Agur was a finalist in both the Sony World Photography Awards 2013 and The Humanity Photography Awards with a photo reportage from Røros in Norway.
Her work covers everything from cutting-edge documentary images to more modest, traditional life themes – always with a very real vision and human touch with her subjects, fascinations and commitments.
