Biography

Born in 1987. After an Interior Design education, she attended the master of Journalism and Visual Communication. Later she obtained a scholarship and attended the master in Photography and Visual Design at NABA-Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. In 2012 she was selected for the artist in residence for the Deauville Photography Festival Planche(s)Contact, curated by Patrick Remy (Steidl).
In 2013 works with Exposed, research lab on the transformation of Milan in view of Expo2015 hosted by Careof, Fabbrica del Vapore and wins the contest Spazio23Award organized by the homonymous Genoese gallery.
She exhibited in solo and group exhibitions including Rock your Dummy! Le Photobookfest, L’Ancienne Imprimerie/Picture Tank (Paris, 2015); The Things One Sees in the Sky, Fotografia Europea (Reggio Emilia, 2015); Exposed Project, Forma Meravigli (Milan, 2015); La grande Milano-dall’architettura moderna alla città del futuro, Villa Necchi Campiglio (Milan, 2014); L’alfabeto della città metropolitana, Fondazione Stelline (Milan, 2014); Desire, Drena Castle (Trento, 2014); Milano Città Aperta: Five years of independent photographic narrations, Polifemo-Fabbrica del Vapore (Milan, 2014); Riccardo Prina Prize,Triennale Design Museum, Palazzo dell’Arte (Milan, 2014); contributor for Nothing to see here, curated by Francesco Jodice (Milan, 2012); Il mondo interno dell’esterno dell’interno (Milan, 2012).
In 2015 she is selected by Art:I:Curate -London and New York based startup-with the project Under Control; presents the personal exhibition Desire curated by Sandro Iovine at Villa Reale of Monza, and she’s shortlisted for the International Art Film Festival, Spazio Oberdan, Milan.
In 2016 she is shortlisted for Premio Fabbri for contemporary art, curated by Carlo Sala, Villa Brandolini, Treviso, Italy; in 2017 she is invited to partecipate to International Photo Project: La Habana-Milano-New York, curated by Alain Cabrera Fernández-Elio Grazioli-Frank Franca, supported by Fondo Malerba per la Fotografia, Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan. Exhibits at Wopart, Work on Paper Art Fair (Lugano 2017) and at Mala Yerba-Fotografìa Contemporànea Italiana y Cubana, (Fototeca de Cuba, Avana, Cuba). In 2018 she wins at Florence short Film festival 2018 for best Experimental Short Film, Cinema Odeon and she's selected for Psychedelic Film and Music festival, Museum of Moving Image, New York City; Lift-Off Sessions; Inshort Film Festival 2018, Lagos State, Nigeria; Lift-Off First-Time Filmmakers 2018 Christmas Special. In 2019 she's selected for NanoCon International Film Festival NIFF, Longview, Washington D.C. and for 2019 Audience Awards Music Shorts Film Festival.
