Rayograph investigates the relationship
among politics, architecture and art through
fashion design and photography.
A Short story.
A capsule collection inspired by a macro-photoshooting focusing on weapons details
and their emerging contaddictions. The collection is the architectural deconstruction of a Uniform, recalling a soldier slowly turning to a Human being.
Weapons design and materials are the source of inspiration for the precious and unusual
textiles: silk and wool coats/uniforms lightened by copper or iron yarns, glowing glass-leather capes recalling ancient armors...
Rayograph Philosophy:
45_ACP Art Project is a metaphor about the past and present conflicts. Technology manages the projects, losing the final sense of their mission, as like as the whole 20th century political and architectural great Utopias. The results of hidden governmental strategies and economical manipulations, once expressed through evident human massacres, are nowadays switching to a more silent, widespread and elusive war. Weapons are a symbol. The macro photography emphasizes the focus on the engineering efforts, the perfection of the technical development, beyond any ethical matter, the senseless stories of the human beings hidden behind the War-Industry.
45_ACP IS AN IMAGE CONTRACTION.
It densifies the reasoning about the strategies and global assets ruling the new economical wars. These aims are accomplished by a growth of extra intrusive, cryptic and sophisticated media-procedures which are getting out of any kind of individual and mass control. We cannot rearrange the cryptograms that rule our accelerated Present any more.
