"WHAT WOULD YOU PUT IN THE HAT OF JOSEPH BEUYS"
Project "Add and Return" dedicated to JOSEPH BEUYS

"An idea for hat"
When asked why she always wears a hat? Beuys replied: "This is an attempt to lead the entire world of work is man himself as the concept of art. This means that at this moment I myself am a work of art. " This is a question I was often asked to Beuys. The German artist had a very personal concept of aesthetics, he stated: "the concept of aesthetics in the old sense is no longer relevant. For me it develops more and more ... until you get to the point where aesthetics is equal to man. The man himself is cosmetic. "The way he was presenting his aesthetic way of being, was will to visibly manifest the essential foundation of his thought, that is the man. Consequently the clothing was almost uniform, and hat, in particular, had to remind himself and others to have a head: the head is made to think, to bring light, the light of the thought that is in balance on the vertical axis, the human being upright.
On the occasion of 30 years since the death of Joseph Beuys (Krefeld, May 12, 1921 - Dusseldorf, 23 January 1986), the Ophen Virtual Art Gallery Space of Salerno and send invites to several contemporary artists a 10x15 cm postcard asking them to intervene with any technique, inserting in respective free postcard box everything that considers it useful to add to complete the work and return it in a sealed envelope to: Giovanni Bonanno Space Ophen Virtual Art Gallery

The works received will be submitted by April 23, 2016 al 27 August 2016 at the interactive gallery 2.0, "Space Ophen Virtual Art Gallery" of Salerno.
Gallery 2.0 will organize an international exhibition as an international event, with its press release, the critical text, the digital catalog and communication of the exhibition to the most important art magazines, newspapers and contemporary art sites. The exhibition will then be archived and can be visited permanently in "exhibitions space activities" Virtual interactive gallery of Salerno.
