THEME
Man in Venice is a project for the exhibition to be held in July 2012 at the Imagina Cafe in Venice, formerly known as the historical photo gallery Imagina, Dorsoduro 3126.
It will be on display for a period of one month.
Participation is open to any creative expression male who is willing to get involved by expressing a vision of the city of Venice, in the mysteries that it knows how to seize and cause. Venice, the beautiful woman, is intriguing, affable, genteel, quiet ... suddenly looks at you with eyes haunting and becomes a tentacle-haired gorgon ready to hurt you to death. The male to be resigned to this beauty admires closely with the imagination of an artist who knows how to please her and be pleasing.
In Venice this unusual man comes into hidden alleyways, into the secrets of the districts, realizing slowly to be close to a city in the flesh, a woman's body.
WORKS
The works submitted must be made based on issues raised by Article On sign.
Works can be submitted in the form of photography, collage, painting, mixed media, sculpture, video, design that does not exceed 1.50 cm x 1.50 cm. Will be presented with one or more works according to space and volume that they occupy. Each entry must be designed to be exposed on cliff faces and then with the correct media.
WHO PARTICIPATES
They are called to participate only male artists. It will be ten selected for the realization of the exhibition.
DEADLINE
Proposals must be submitted no later than May 2, 2012.
Please send an email to the association (signonart@gmail.com) with photographs of the works that you wish to exhibit and a short cv for the press release. Jpeg and pdf formats are accepted with a brief description of the technique and work, preferably in a format suitable for an initial investigation not too heavy.
VISIBILITY 'ARTIST
The exhibition will be due by early releases in the local area, properly marked on the virtual platform and advertising timely.
The inaugural event, presented by the association and the art historian, will welcome guests with refreshments and a performance-related shows.

SHARE
Being a non-profit organizations will require a contribution to the artist of the costs of 50 € (including the € 12 fee to the association for the year 2012).
