Selection Artists Art Garden 2013
After the great success of the first edition, ArtGarden, the collective of contemporary art en plein air, comes back in the beautiful location of the Giardino dell'Orticoltura in Florence, during the Florentine Summer.
Art Garden moves to the idea of embellishing the Garden through a combination of sounds, colors and images, a visual and noise pollution to allow the encounter between the natural environment and art.
The collective has as its central focus the idea of living art in nature, with plants and greenery of the garden to make the perfect backdrop for the works, leaving the visitor the pleasure of a dip in a relaxing environment for the body and stimulating for the mind.
Starting from an initial core of works, ArtGarden will be enriched with new works going to form an exclusive itinerary between nature and contemporary.
The collective will begin on June 12th, for a period of three months, and will close on the September 11th with a finissage and presentation of the works / artists.
The dates available for insertion of the works are:
June 19/12/26th
July 3/10/17/24/31th
August 7th
The works to be submitted for selection must have the following characteristics:
1) medium and large dimension
2)material resistant to weather, theft or damage
Each artist can participate with one work in one of the dates indicated.
The membership fee is € 30.
The organization will have an adequate promotion. The event will be included in the planning of the City of Florence in Florentine Summer. The works will be accompanied by corresponding data sheet during the exposition.
If you are interested to participate in the selection, you send by email two images of the work that you intend to exhibit indicating the availability of the days.
