REGULATIONS EX TEMPORE CARNIVAL 2012
Registration and stamping of canvases or other foundation will be held in Slovenia, Italy , Austria and Croatia from Monday, 6th February until Wednesday, 15th February 2012.
The registration fee is 20 euros, for full-time students and retired person 15 euros. Partecipants have to pay the fee when stamping the canvases.
Theme: carnival, kurent, masks, spring and free theme.
Each participant may stamp two bases but only one can be consigned. The mesaures: not smaller then 50x50 cm and not bigger then 150x150 cm.
Consigment: from Tuesday, 7th February, to Wednesday, 15th February 2012, between 9 am and 6 pm, and Thursday, 14th February 2012, between 9 am and 2 pm in the office of Tourist Information Centre (Slovenski trg 5, 2250 Ptuj, tel.: +386 2 779 60 11).
The organiser accepts no responsibility for possible damage to works handed in. Each work must be fitted and prepared for exhibition. The following must be stated on the reverse: author’s name, surname, e-mail and telephone number. Also the title, technique and sales price (in €) has to be stated on the reverse. Each author guarantees that the work handed in is his property and hand work.
The opening of the exhibition and the presentation of awards will be on Friday, 17th February 2012, at 2 pm infront of the City Hall in Ptuj (Mestni trg 1, 2250 Ptuj).
The exhibition of the artworks will be on display until 24th February 2012 in Gallery Magistrat, Gallery Tenzor in the City Theatre and in exhibition space Revivis.
International Exper Jury will award GRAND PRIX prize of the City of Ptuj in amount of 2.000 €, major purchase prizes in amount of 1.000 €, young author awards of Gallery Tenzor and Gallery FO.VI, small purchase prizes in amount of 500 € and honourable mentions. Between participating students of the Art Academies or similiar institutions the jury will award a student with a special award of the City of Ptuj. All prizes are in gross amounts.
Prize winners are obliged to relinquish prizewinning paintings regardless of the specified sales price.
Authors have to collect exhibited works in the Tourist Information Centre of Ptuj from Monday, 27th February and not later than 4th March 2012, each day between 9 am and 6 pm otherwise they become the property of the organisers.
