On the occasion of the fourth edition of the International Contemporary Art Award LYNX 2019, organized by the Cultural Association Il Sestante of Trieste and curated by Enea Chersicola and Riccardo Tripodi, there will be a vernissage of the exhibition of the finalists and winners in Turin in a few days.
The event was sponsored by Torino Città Metropolitana and the Piedmont Region, as well as by the Municipality of Ajdovščina (Slovenia) and the Providence of the Municipality of Trieste and also had the collaboration of several national and international partners in the field of contemporary art.
The inauguration will be held at MIIT (International Museum of Italian Art) located in Turin on Corso Cairoli 4 on Saturday 9 November at 6.30pm, during which the LYNX Award will be presented for the first time in the Piedmontese capital.
The exhibition, completely free, will remain open until Saturday, November 23rd (Tuesday-Saturday from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm).
The MIIT International Museum of Italy Art of modern and contemporary art is an exhibition space located in the heart of the city and in the fervent district of galleries, museums and foundations, just a stone's throw from the Egyptian Museum, the National Cinema Museum, the Mole Antonelliana, Palazzo Madama, from the MAAO Museum of Oriental Art, from the State Archive, from the Royal Palace, from the GAM and from all the main cultural and tourist attractions of the Piedmontese capital.
The MIIT Scientific Committee is made up of journalists, historians and art critics, collectors and industry professionals. Guido Folco, art historian and critic, independent curator, editor and director of the monthly magazine Italia Arte and of numerous other publications, professional journalist is Director and President of the Museum.
