The Biblioteca Centrale Nazionale (National Central Library) is without doubt the most appropriate venue for an exhibition by Letizia Ardillo and Vittorio Fava. I would add that the production by the two artists is in many ways complementary to a library, a place dedicated to reading and to remembrance. Indeed, whilst Vittorio Fava is an indefatigable maker of artist’s books, the matrix for Letizia Ardillo’s artistic discourse is the Hebrew alphabet.
