From June 12 to 20 at the Polimoda Fashion Week 2010 in the windows of antique shops of Via Maggio will be presented ideas, creations and projects for students of Polimoda. An exciting journey in this historic road that becomes exceptional stage for an unusual coexistence of the art of yesterday and today. Experimental atmosphere of confrontation between tradition and innovation, the universe and the existential poetry of two Florentine artists emerges strongly in space Sessantaquattrorosso hosting the exhibition "Images fairytale" a double solo show with works by Brunella Baldi and Lisa Nocentini by Marco Turks Head and Olivia.
Once upon a time the image of reality, and this has become more irraccontabile for its banality and cruelty, especially as the need arose to find metaphors or parables to understand and to represent you. How much reality there is a story ... her story becomes accessible by a child, and as often abhor the reality as it is, we find formulas for personal learning it, accept, and live. Freud taught that the analysis of a dream tells the real joys and fears of being human. Filters allow unconscious in everyday life we face what is thrown at him. Human frailty forced to disguise, a lighter, with dreamy-surreal tales, going "beyond" the reality of waking and dreaming harmoniously coexist. The works of Brunella Baldi and Lisa Nocentini reveal, like a fairy tale, human nightmares, are an expression of a surreal world impractical and for that much closer to what we live every day .. Introspective analysis of man and his fears, made with the lightness of the narrative but which requires a deep knowledge of self. Lightness and superficiality, it allows the float in the deep emotions that seize the human soul. Fables of clay Lisa Nocentini and the particular perspective of graphic prints Brunella Baldi told the essence of reality and our fears, through representations indulgent transcribed in a dream world, the rawness of life, with their surreal imagery evoke a concrete ever shouted but no less real, less deep. With delicacy and elegance measured works of Brunella Baldi and Lisa Nocentini are tactile realization of our past and our present, the visual dialogue between childhood and maturity. We speak with discretion at the same time making us see all the elements of truth that are part of our being men and "fairy tale image" becomes the filter healing to deal with a reality that more and more frightening.
